American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists recommendations for H1N1The latest information from ACOG re-emphasizes that swine flu cases are rapidly multiplying in the US, and that pregnant women (especially 3rd trimester) and their infants are at very high risk of complications. A third of pregnant women with H1N1 were hospitalized (most with severe respiratory distress) and deaths of otherwise healthy pregnant women are still being reported.
